Being pro-choice is about being in favor of individual rights, whether it's to have abortions, or large families, or even babies with special needs.
Of course this means....
-No welfare assistance when your individual right to have a large family exceeds your income
-No SSI or family assistant programs when your choose to mainstream your special needs child with severe disabilities into the school system. Your child needs assistance? Your private insurance will be billed for that aide who sits next to your child all day. The child who the doctors say will never walk, speak or comprehend anything spoken to them. The school system is not a free babysitting service.
-No free or reduced lunch tickets in school. You wanted to exercise your individual right? feed them yourself
You can't have it both ways AMAI. People want the liberty of individual rights, but not the financial burden.
