1) My brother is an AVID editor so I understand the necessity and theories behind it. He and I actually sat down and talked about how they might edit me. We covered lazy black man, crazy black man, everyone's a racist black man, can't do puzzles black man, can't swim black man. I figured I was safe since I was none of those things. I'm even good at puzzles and I can swim my big ass off (though I had a pulled hamstring for most of the time I was out there--which is why I sat out the bucket challenge). the edit that I got was egregiously bad even given that they have to do some editing. As bad as the lazy antisocial edit was, the worst part was the way they made me invisible for the first 2 and half episodes. that's when I was explaining my strategy and basically exposing Casaya's members lack of game ability. I think it was done on purpose b/c I know I was dropping serious heat in my confessionals. I just aimed it at people that ended up on the jury and I guess the producers didn't want me dismantling people then disappearing. Those that saw me on the early show and survivorlive and were wondering where all the personality came from suddenly, it was there all along, it was just kept from the public.

2) Bruce and I had been in the outhouse about 40 minutes b4 the camera people noticed we weren't in the shelter so they found us, knocked and started asking questions. We had been more or less quiet most of the time in there b/c we were in bad shape physically. When the questions came we basically had to spell out what happened as if we were really having the conversation which we weren't.

Two questions:

1. Given that the show is edited (by necessity), how well do you think you were portrayed in the show?

2. How on earth did they get a camera inside Casa de Charmin to film you both?

yeah RS I actually saw that today! that shit is hilarious (and if there's one thing I know, it's shit). That thing had me cracking up earlier and it's part of why I decided to go ahead and post. That's good stuff...

I never saw an owl or any of the other animals they always show. It cracks me up how they make it look like some big ass reticulated python is just kickin it in camp with us. I saw plenty of manta rays and that 7 inch snake Aras killed, a few exotic birds but nothing else really.

Life at Viveros was good. We all got along. We were pretty retarded but we did actually get a shelter built on day 2. Day one we just said funk it let's roll the dice and hope it doesn't rain and it didn't. We slept under the stars (actually none of us got any sleep that first night). We actually got a fire started using the flint the 2 day too. I tried to get the guys to promise that if we got split up, our mission would be to get whomever we were still teamed up with to the merge and then whoever was left, whether it was 4 or 3 of us would get back together and make a run at having 4 young athletic dudes go 1, 2, 3, 4. Aras kind of played along but I think he never was with that plan. If NIck or Austin had been with me in Casaya it would have been a whole different story b/c we would have stuck together .Aras and I were cool, but for some reason he didn't want to be in an alliance with me and he abandoned me as soon as we got to the beach basically.

Not at all. Since I know you guys know the deal I will try to avoid playing the "it was editing" card all the time but even during the game Terry and I had big mutual respect for each other. After I chased down Ruth Marie all of La Mina shook my hand and said that was a great strategic move and was a classy way to finish. Terry and I gave each other pounds during each challenge. Austin and Nick vouched for me at La Mina and Terry and I share a baseball background. Terry and I are on very good terms. At the reunion I told him he wouldn't have beaten me in wresting if I knew he had a pink Billy Ocean shirt and he said it would have been the first time bobdawg got his ass kicked by a dude in a pink shirt. Terry and I would have gotten along great and I actually talked alot about that in my confessionals. I was dying to make the merge b/c I could have bonded with so many people over there. I was edited to be antisocial and unlikeable but the only person that didn't like me was Danielle, maybe Shane, and for a short time Courtney. But everyone else in Casaya and everyone in la mina liked or at least respected me. I just couldn't get over the merge hurdle...
