I like Memphis a lot and still want to see him in the final two but (I know I said this already) I really feel like this could be the thing that undoes his win or at the very least, makes it a lot less certain if he goes up against Dan. Though I have a feeling, he didn't see his chances of winning over Dan, Jerry OR Keesha as being as great as we did. As you said, the view is best from the cheap seats. From his perspective, I think he was just looking to ensure that he's sitting in one of the two house-seats on finale night.

It was the last of several drunken episodes when keesha and renny were outside drunk (renny not so much) and started trashing brian outside on the patio with jerry present. Both, memphis and dan took all this in and dan was visibly upset more towards renny and memphis more towards keesha. memphis really liked angie too, and don't kid yourself, memphis knows exactly why angie got sent packing and who was directly behind it. I think this also made it a little easier for him to boot keesha along with his stategic reasons.
