I love it. Token white girl decides "I'm going to buy an Escalade today" and calls up sugar daddy to finance it. THen, she picks the sleaziest
dress the no-name designer brings and decides to get ready in a gas station parking lot. She is klazzy.
My jaw dropped at seeing the first woman's house. Can you imagine building a home like that sight-unseen? Wow....must be nice. Looks like it turned out beautifully. Nene is a piece of trash and Sheree isn't too far behind her. |

That neighborhood is right around the corner from where I live. It is not in Atlanta and it's a sub-division of all mostly empty million dollar plus homes. An estate manager, governess, nanny, maid and cook? wtf Hi Neighbor! They've also had three men commit suicide over the summer due to "financial burden", one of them blew his head off in front of the entire family. My cousin and her family live in one of the cushy Duluth neighborhoods (I slum it in an apt) but she's way too boring and whitebread too know anything about these type of people, believe me, I've been trying to find out who that woman's pimp is. No luck so far, but I do know someone who was at the premiere party at the W Hotel. The write up in the AJC gossip column was very snarky about it, I guess the publicist isn't doing a good job.

Hey! Omg... that's awful! Not surprising though. I just went to Lowes and the guy that waited on me is a builder trying to survive by working part time
at Lowes. He has two million dollar homes left to sell. All he wants is what he put into them...he'd probably take 4-500,000 just to get rid of them.
While they were building all these monstrosities I kept saying to my dh WHO is buying these??? There's also another sub-division very similiar to The
Manor just a few miles away. They've completely stopped building and most of the McMansion's are sitting empty or unfinished. Even if I had the
money, I wouldn't want a 15,000 +++ square foot house...puleeeeze.
I'd love to see them now that the real estate market and stock markets have tanked. They'll never get rid of that house. It makes me so happy that I'm not one of "Atlanta's elite". 
eta: I'm dying to know who big pappa is. Make sure you post it if you find out. lol

The Ghetto-riche are certainly very interesting people. I can't decide who I dislike more yet. NeNe and Sheree are sure at the top. I have a friend that
is always telling me stories about the women here in LA that aspire to be kept women of the NBA/NFL and how the real wives don't give a darn as long as the
green rolls in. I can see why now. Multimillion dollar homes - a staff - jewels - fashion and events to show off. That's quite a fulfilling life style.

I loved this! The bitching and over-the-top egos were great tv. The blond prostitute that looks like Trisha Yearwood (apologies to Trish and Garth) with her
"big poppa" and "Shereeee" with her delusions of grandeur and megalomania make the ones in Orange County and NY seem 'normal' (well
not really of course), and NeNe (sp?) is like VH1's New York in Atlanta!

They're all ghettofabulous, but how in the hell did NeNe even get in this group? I watch the posers, who at least pose. NeNe with her POPPIN eyes and
BUSSIN lips (her words) yelling fuck every two minutes isn't even posing. I'm kind of liking the chick who looks semi asian, the Tricia Yearwood look
a like makes me grin, and possibly the chick who threw a party for herself, even though that in itself seems a little odd to me. They're killing me.

I have yet to see this show but I am disgusted. Even just because of the lack of racial diversity. ATL has 4 out 5 being black and the other shows had
zero?!?!? Stereotyping.
ATL is really bad sometimes too b/c most people here are new money and have to show it off. It is horrible. |
