The funniest part to me about all of this is the spoiler in question, was revealed about 3 seconds into the show

Here's the way I look at it.
The show aired. You couldn't watch it when the show aired = your fault. Anything discussed or posted after said episode aired is not a spoiler. Why would you even look for the True Blood thread if you haven't watched the latest episode? So you can discuss things from Epsiode 1 while everyone is discussing Episode 3? What you can magically skip every post about episode 3, not read one statement about episode 3 yet somehow manage to read the whole thread title |

AlwaysAwesomeAdam wrote: You wouldn't. However, you may look for the "Harper's Island" thread of the "Kathy Griffin: My Life On The D-List" thread or the "Fashion Show" thread and accidentally see the title for "True Blood" containing the spoiler. You're right that if people are opening the thread, they deserve to be spoiled. Nobody is arguing that... |

Jeeze - I watched it twice and I missed whatever the pudding was both times. Hardly a spoiler. More like a teaser.

I must be the only one who can skim then. I never read a full thread's title. If you are going to read the full threads title, its still your fault.

uh guys, this is a moot point because I said I wouldn't do it anymore. So grab a bottle of True Blood and relax.
keep fighting and i'll post fake spoilers in the title just to amuse myself. |

maxxfisher wrote:Not to mention the fact that previews and promos for the next episode and remaining season clearly show that Lafayette survived and where he was. So, for the people who aren't watching the show until it finishes or waiting for it on DVD/BlueRay or whatever the lame reason is they are waiting extended periods of time, they are going to be "spoiled" anyway unless they never watch T.V. or read entertainment magazines/papers or look at anything on the internet. So, posting it in this thread after the episode airs IS NOT SPOILING. But regardless of certain whiners around here, McWolcott is kind enough to now be extra sensitive in what she puts in her thread titles so as to not upset the small percentage of babies that come into this thread and cry wolf at anything they THINK may be a spoiler. So, the issue has been resolved. |

This argument should be over.
McWolcott is the only one who can change the thread title and McWolcott understands the complaint. So, respectfully, shut the fuck up already. Oops! Didn't see McWolcott's latest reply......sorry, LOL!

I love Sookie.
I love that she's the only one on the show that's not even remotely intimidated by the vamps. Her slapping Eric across the face was great! |

That's because she is dumb as a bag of hair.

How does her not being scared of the vamps make her dumb?

I think she's made some foolish decisions, but I don't think she that dumb at all.

Well, she is a bit slow on the uptake, especially for someone who can read minds.
The silhouette of the creature reminded me of something from Pan's Labyrinth. I'm glad that Tara's catching on to Mary Ann's game. I was afraid they were going to drag that out and it just doesn't fit w/ Tara's character. She's a great people-reader and to have her not realizing something odd would be totally out of character. |

^^^ Agreed!!! That always bothered me in the books, too, is that she is just too brazen, obnoxious and rude. She sees that Bill backs down and shows respect
to Eric, yet Sookie shoots her mouth off, makes ridiculous demands and acts like a spoiled brat. Why doesn't the thought cross her mind that she may be
causing problems for others around her, like Bill, when she acts like that? Not to mention that at any time the vamps could find her too much trouble and
annoying to deal with and just kill her.
I'm all about Sookie not shivering in fear when she is among the vamps and just treating them the same as regular people, but real people get pissed off and do rash things in anger and the fact that she is so quick to push buttons deserves some repercussions. She is lucky that Eric is so in control of his emotions and everything around him. I love how Sookie not only wants to trade her services for Lafayette's freedom (which should be enough), but she also demands Bill as an escort and $5,000, and if that wasn't enough Bill then demands $10,000. As that was going on, I was hoping Eric would say screw you, it's Lafayette's life or nothing. Eric was holding all the cards and yet he gives in to Sookie's demands and she still acts like a bitch. |
