Only 2 episodes in and this season has been amazing and I love the direction it is taking.

I actually am enjoying Jason as a FOTS recruit. I think this is going to be a very good storyline for his character and the conflicting emotions he has going on about vampires. It makes sense that someone with the limited brain capacity Jason has would be easy prey for a cult.

Love the "blood in my hair" quote for the thread title. My other choice would be Lafayette's "I'll take option C" or "I pick option C" or whatever it was he said. Yes, option C is what I want, too. Lafayette being Eric's badass vampire is the best option ever as my two favorite characters will be working together and getting more screen time (I would hope). "OPTION C" FTW!!!!

Like McWolcott said, basically anything said by Eric & Lafayette is gold.

Stupid Sookie continues to screw up and cause Bill more grief. My two cents on the Anna Paquin debate is I think she is doing a fantastic job as Sookie. I personally found Sookie in the books a very immature, bratty and annoying character. Sookie in the show is a tad more likeable to me than the book Sookie, but Anna is playing Sookie perfectly as she has been written.

Can't wait until they head to Dallas and we get more Eric. The possibility of adding Lafayette into the mix as Eric's badass vamp makes me very, very happy. The triad of Eric/Pam/Lafayette is thrilling to think of.
