Speaking of Kobe, did anyone watch the documentary? I dvr'd it and saw it last night. 90 minutes of praising his greatness as a player and teammate. Good stuff.

Pfffft..without fail, twzted pulls out the "I have the rings" battlecry forgetting I swore off the Knix during the Isiah Thomas Error. I'll admit I read the papers a little more closely since D'Antoni came to town, but it's going to take some doing to win me back in the fold. He also forgets I find much of the NBA extremely unwatchable.

No doubt Kobe makes his team better. Any player with that much talent would. But better enough to win a championship? LeBron is on his way to doing it with less talent that that around Kobe in his post Shaq days.

But I might even deign to switch on the telly to catch the Nuggets. They don't have anyone who can play D but any George Karl team is entertaining to watch. So you can wrap up that tiny morsel of victory and cling to it like Jeff Van Gundy leg humping Alonzo Mourning.
