I really thought Lauren's Elmo cake was well done. But Mike M's Big Bird was sheer perfection. Made me miss the days my short people would actually
watch Sesame Street.

I adored the Elmo cake, but seeing the feathers on the Big Bird cake, I did not see how he could possibly lose. The detail work was amazing!!

Watching an old Princess Cake Challenge it was stated that only 50% of the decorations could be prepared in advance, i.e., if you are going to use 100 flowers only 50 can be made in advance. You get more points if you prepare the stuff on site. The main characters have to be made on site. |

I watched. Did Jason & Jay break up? (were they a couple, btw?). Jason was competing on his own. Man they look alike. I kept getting them confused as
far as who was doing what cake and who was having what kind of trouble.

I don't know if Jason and Jay were ever a couple, but they did mention in this ep they've been friends for ten years. I watched the ep but didn't
catch why they decided to compete against each other. They playfully trash talked each other from their respective kitchens.
The episode was okay. The premise was hokey (sending them on a cruise together) but whatever. I love cake so it's all good. |

FNC: Cereal Treats Bridges 2 was on tonight. Unfortunately I was so tired I feel asleep after 15 minutes. At least that meant I didn't have to watch or
listen to Stevie for an extended period of time though. Easily my most hated FNC competitor, its obvious they continue to invite her back just so she'll be
a train wreck for lolz. I also hate Bronwen Webber now, but at least her stuff is actually good and not hideous like Stevie's messes.
Did anyone see the Halloween episodes with the gingerbread houses or the pumpkin carving? I hate the male dominated challenges where they throw in one woman and she's fucking pathetic at it. I mean could they really not find one solid female competitor for the given challenge. The female pumpkin carver was a mess and the other one I distinctly remember was the sandwiches and all the woman's sandwiches were awful and weird. Elizabeth Faulkner was on the gingerbread haunted houses thing and I was looking forward to her creation until it turned out to be a Stevie level, hideous, art piece. |

I saw that episode. Stevie was in that one too and of course her cake was fucked and Kerri hated it and then she lit it on fire (Stevie not Kerri).
In the cereal bridges 2 one Stevie makes this obnoxious headband to make fun of Kerri and Kerri calls her childish. I love Kerri Vincent. |
