Because it's 11 am where I'm at and I can't be bothered to get out of bed yet.

I hope Salt finally got to sleep. I woke up at 6...sleeping in a bit from my normal wakeup.

I slept from 5 to 6am and then Dr. Salt took over the monitoring duties from 7-8 so I slept another hour. Back up to help first kid leave any second b/c mom is
picking her up for church.
Two hours of sleep - then I log on to find out my Dad, who will 80 in less than a month, fell yesterday and fractured his hip while having a water balloon fight with his 4 youngest grandchildren. Yes, a water balloon fight with a 4 yr old, twin 2 years olds, and an almost 2 year old. I'm outta state, and have to rely on phone calls and emails. Bummer Fathers' Day. |

It was my mom who emailed, she knows I pretty much check email as it comes in. She didn't want to call with all the girls here for a sleepover. I also
think she doesn't want to get too upset, and a brief email worked for her.
Thunder in Chicagoland woke me up during my two whole hours of sleep. |

It is raining a ton in my section of Chicagoland. I got up at 6:00 to close windows and strap down the lawn furniture yet again.
