In the theatres that was one of scariest movies, those creatures scarred the fuck out of me! My friends and I left that movie still freaked out. Apparently they are developing a sequel, which I think is a bad idea, but here is the synopsis of the proposed sequel: THE DESCENT 2 Following the events after the US ending, Sarah has escaped from the cave and has found aid at a nearby hospital. Now, mentally scarred and unable to speak, she helps lead a search and rescue team back to the cave in hopes of finding survivors. If I were the character, Sarah, there is no way in hell they could get me to go back in that cave again after everything she went through in the first movie.

You laugh, but this scene caused me great trauma as a child. To this day I fear old women on skateboards. S.
