Sometimes when I have a bagel with cream cheese (or marscapone) I like the bagels where the hole is closed up. That way the cream cheese (or marscapone)
doesn't get on my fingers while spreading. Nothing worse than cream cheese (or marscapone) on your fingers.

My favorite thing to do with cream cheese:
You take some ground pork -- fattier the better of course -- and brown it a bit. Mix it with cream cheese and fresh squished ginger. A little soy and a dash of terriki. Put a little spoonful in a wonton wrapper and seal. Shallow fry for a couple of minutes in peanut oil. I serve that with different dips including teriaki, peanut sauce, mustard, duck sauce and ginger sauce. MMMMMMMMMMM |
