Yeah, that's one reason why the show failed the first time. Failed in the ratings. (Which I suppose in TV terms is to just say failed.) But it actually was a thinking person's show. Remember when Mensa called it the "smartest show on television"? So, naturally, it failed. Because the public is not smart. The producer gave an interview about how they were "simplifying" the show this season, and I could definitely get the dumbed-down vibe. But again, it's early, so I'll give it a shot.

We're presented with an edited version of the events so it's not like you follow along and try to figure out who the mole is along with the people in the game. You can make your guesses, but you're still seeing a distorted view of things. It's just a reality show, which is as mindless as it gets. <3
