My aunt sells tea/coffee as her business. So I end up with a billion free samples. Right now I have multiple pitchers of peach iced tea in my fridge. Awesome.

Iced tea is great, but it has to be fresh brewed. None of that canned crap. Bah.

So I broke down and got a half gallon of Sweet Tea from Bojangles this AM.
I'm on my 4th glass. It's replacing my coffee today. |

Aspirin is salicylic acid which is the ingredient in a number of face washes etc.
You take about 4 and put them in a bowl and drop a few drops of water on them and they lose their shape and become crumbly. Then you mix with whatever you like, a cream, mask, most people do honey or honey and something else. Leave it on for about 10-20 min and wash off. Tonight I did aspirin, honey and a little sugar. My face is a little less red every day because of the honey. The aspirin can be drying but if your skin responds to it, then it works for any little bumps etc. Go to www.makeupalley.com and read up on it. rated 5 of 5 usepunctuation on 5/22/2008 10:57:00 PM more reviews by usepunctuation Age: 19-24 Skin Type: Combination Skin Tone: Fair Hair Color: Red Eye Color: Other Who knew something so simple could be so effective? Aspirin, when ingested, is an anti-inflammatory, so it would make sense that it has the same effect on the surface of the skin! It's easiest to use the uncoated kind, about 3 or 4, depending on how thick you want your mask to be, and slowly dissolve in a few drops of warm or hot water. I have fairly oily skin, so I don't usually mix it with honey or anything. Apply it all over your face if it's oily or normal, and only in problem areas if it's dry or sensitive. I usually put a bit more on spots or super oil prone parts of my face. Once it has dried, you can wet your face and use the dried aspirin bits as an exfoliant. It's like a two-for-one deal! It leaves my skin smooth, soft, and less red. It usually helps shrink blemishes and tones down oil with regular use. 5 out of 5 people found this review helpful. I use this twice a week on average. My skin always looks significantly better after I use it. I chop up the aspirin after putting water on them and usually mix it with a a dollop of face wash or something. rub it on my skin for a little while then leave it on for maybe 5 minutes and rinse off. it reduces the redness and makes my skin as soft as a baby's bottom Lol ! The salicylic acid in it is a mild anti-septic which will help with acne also. LOVE IT ! http://makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=14129/Aspirin_Mask/Unlisted_Brand/Masks |

The soap I use has salicylic acid in it. Does the honey moisturize? Will it cause breakouts if you have oily skin?

my preference: brewed iced tea, no sugar. I like that Paradise Tea Company stuff. Mint is pretty good, too.
I won't order tea in restaurants anymore because since I have moved to Canada, it's all Lipton, rather than real brewed tea. |

I like iced tea. I drink it sometimes in different fruit flavors like lemon and apple.

The honey really moisturizes for me. My cheeks have been so dry this winter and spring. Now, no dryness at all even with using my wash with salicylic.
