I'm about 30 minutes into this movie right now and I have a question.
Is the viewer supposed to HATE Ellen Page? I sure do. She's an over actor.
And Diablo Cody is way overrated. The script would have been so much better if she didn't try to come off so kewl with her hip dialogue. Real people
don't talk like that. It kind of reminds me of the dialogue Kevin Williamson used to use with the early episodes of Dawson's Creek....except way
worse. She should go back to working the pole.
J.K. Simmons, Jason Bateman, and Jennifer Garner are okay though.

Couldn't agree more. She's so affected. She sucks in interviews too. Comes off as a really smug, know-it-all who thinks she's wise beyond her
years. :eyeroll

Why does this topic keep coming up? I love Juno, yeah its not that realistic, but who cares? Not every great movie has to be an accurate reflection of the
world or humanity or some metaphysical concept . I like it because its endearing,its charming, its not manipulative enough for you to realize it. Kind of like
"Its a wonderful life"
