Various sources have confirmed the Eye has asked producers for a second edition for the 2008-09 season. While scheduling won't be confirmed until tomorrow,
it's believed like "Survivor," one edition will air in the fall (its 13th) with another in the spring (its 14th).

CBS upfronts confirm it!
TAR is back this fall on Sundays at 8PM, and there will be 2 TAR seasons! On Sunday, the perennial Number One news magazine, 60 MINUTES, kicks off its 41st season at 7:00 PM, followed by the return of the five-time Emmy Award-winning reality series THE AMAZING RACE at 8:00 PM. The successful crime drama COLD CASE remains at 9:00 PM and the action drama THE UNIT joins the night at 10:00 PM. YES. I've been waiting for another back-to-back airing of TAR ever since they did it with TAR 5, TAR 6, and TAR 7 (well, my memory could be a little foggy
but I could've sworn those seasons were like a month or so apart in airing). Seems like there's no end in sight for TAR!

But I doubt they'll ever get Survivor alumni to race again. Romber were a bit to much to tolerate. If they do, Ozzmanda would be more of a shoe-in. |
