If they wanted Cirie to have a chance at winning they wouldnt have had a final 2 and went with the final 3. Im suprised that the players thought it would be a final 3 when they had the final 4 tribal on Day 37. Did they think they were going to do nothing for 2 days? |

Not really. This challenge suited tall people with long arms. It suited Amanda the most. She didn't even break a sweat.

I think what the threadstarter is trying to say is them having final 2 benefited Cirie in terms of her chances of winning... Had it been final 3 the votes
would have probably gone Amanda: James, Erik, Ozzy Parv: Natalie Eliza, Jason, and Alexis would all be question marks for Cirie/Parv...
I wish they would return to a classic endurance challenge where if you have the determination you can hold on for as long as you want... it's more mental than physical. But yeah, having a final 2 was Amanda's kiss of death for sure, but it benefited Parvati the most because she was guaranteed final 2. |

Amanda was definately gonna win if it was F3, but I think they did not suddenly change it to a F2 because they were doing the challenges on the correct days
for a F2 season.

Yep, Survivaholic said it best.
I don't think the Final 2 twist was planned. I think it was a spur of the moment decision by the writers because 1) they wanted Cirie to win (for all the conspiracy theorists!) or 2) they creatively thought that blindsiding the girls would be a perfect end for a season full of blindsides. |

pretty good at challenges & with only 3 women left, what do you think they thought the odds were that Amanda would win it? Cirie has NEVER won an IC in 2
shows so WTF would she start now? Pigs could fly easier than her winning any type of a physical challenge. They knew she couldn't win an IC & they
knew Parvati & Amanda would take each other.
CBS did not appreciate her last tactic of lying & deceiving a naive & great competitor (Erik). They were tired of her lies & laughing & making fun of all the deserving opponents she helped boot. So they took care of it. Thus, she would be booted from the game to merely a juror. If this had been planned, they would have had a jury of 9 or 7 & started the jury with Ami or Ozzy, not 8 jurors, which would have risked a tie. But, since it wasn't planned til the end, they had no choice since they wanted her gone & came up with an envelope that would have been opened if there was a tie. Mark Burnett booted her worthless ass & she deserved it. So they let her know how it felt. GREAT MOVE CBS! She got what she deserved. I noticed she wasn't laughing when it was her turn. She can dish it out but can't take it. If Mark Burnett had wanted her worthless ass to win, he'd merely have left it at F3 & she'd have been sitting there at the end. It's that simple. Deal with it. The player got played. Ha ha ha! Best TC ever! |

we're all just speculating! chill! :) her interview about the final 2 challenge was just very telling, that is all. :)
and yep, we do agree on one thing that the final 2 twist wasn't planned at all. and for the record, i was rooting for amanda just because she reached the finals twice and no matter how she played (boring or passive) that is not an easy thing to accomplish. ;) |
