Why would Parv, Amanda and Cerie do all that scheming just to save Natalie when they were all safe anyway??! I don't get it. I would think that Parv/Cerie would want Erik to stay to the F4 so that at the F4 immunity challege they can half ass it and hope Erik beats out Amanda so they can vote off Amanda but act like their backs are up against the wall so Amanda doesn't feel betrayed. Erik was no jury threat anyway...Amanda IS. Makes no sense. Now...in order to get rid of Amanda, Cerie/Parv have to screw her over and in that case, Nat might end up getting her vote.

What she should have done is swallow her pride and anger towards Erik and stick with him. All they had to do then was sway Cirie towards their side (as she's the obvious number three) and vote off either Parv or Amanda. It would be a lot easier to sway Cirie towards your side when it's a 3-2 split instead of Nat trying to sway Cirie when it's a 3-1 and forcing a tie. Now Natalie pretty much has to win immunity or else it's hello last member of the jury.

They wanted Erik out because he was winning the challenges. Natalie may believe that with Erik out of the way, she stands a better shot at winning immunity to take her to the F3.

"Girl Power", mostly, but also because Erik ahd that pesky habit of winning Immunities, PLUS his personality was probably such that he'd take a few jury votes. And, I think A/P/C wanted an All-Fave F3 because a Fan that makes the finals might pull in the "Fan vote" from Jason and Alexis. OTOH, all the talk of Amanda's threat last week could have made it very easy for E/N/C to boot Amanda this week; surely that had to be discussed somewhere along the line, but we had the unusual situation of the most dopeheaded move in Survivor histroy, and all of the post-IC footage was about that; we didn't see one bit of strategizing about a "Plan B". I wish erik had asked them what they would do if he DIDN'T turn over the necklace, because Cirie surely wasn't going to say in front of Nat "We'll boot Natalie"--it would have been Amanda or Parv anyway, so what did he think he had to gain, except "being liked by my Survivor idols" eyeroll

She planned on going to the F2 with Aras in Panama despite Shane and Danielle probably being easier opponents. Aras was her closest ally and she stuck by him if no one else. Maybe she simply doesn't want to betray Amanda (and/or Parvati). Amanda working her before the last TC probably helped a bit too.

They know that Cirie is with them until F3. All three will now vote Nat out knowing that Cirie can't win the F3 challenge and then they vote her out. So from Amanda and Parvs perspective, getting rid of challenge threat Eric was paramount to their plans. Eric's stupidity has sealed Amanada or Pov winning. Or, if it's a F3, Cirie will go next and Nat will stay.

Natalie may seem like the obvious choice to be the next one out... But I think Cirie is smarter than that. If Cirie goes to the final 3 with Amanda, Cirie loses. If Cirie gets Amanda out next, she wins. It's simple as that.

I am assuming it's a F3 like it has been the last couple seasons rather than a F2 so why wouldn't they want Erik to stay for F4 and win immunity? Then Parv/Cerie could oust Amanda w/o Amanda feeling like she's being backstabbed. If Cerie makes a move this week and tries to get rid of Amanda..it will look bad for Cerie w/ the jury.
