Hubby is from Calgary, we currently live in Seattle. We are moving back to Calgary before summer ends and school starts for my daughter. He keeps telling me the winters are not that bad, i'll get used to 'em..blah blah. The last time we were there, it snowed 8 inches in one night. I could not find a grocery store that carried anything I like. What's the shopping like there, cause we get a ton of Vancouver people shopping down here. Is the employment really that great right now. Is housing that hard to find? I guess just basically, other than the FLAMES (i'm a fan of 'em) what will I really learn to love about Calgary?

Hubby and I had met 8 years ago, we married 2.5 years ago, so he left to come to me. My folks are both dead, his family is all in one place. He's not that happy here, not adjusting well, and honestly, my daughter adores his family. It's just a good move that he's with family, and she gets a sense of family around her as well. Some may think that's a crazy reason to move, but family wise, its the best scenerio. I want both of them happy ya know? Me? Daddy always called me a gypsy, so home is where the heart is for me.
