Kelly Clarkson To Release "Already Gone" As Next Single…

This year Kelly Clarkson thrust herself back into the pop-sensation spotlight with her single "My Life Would Suck Without You" but has failed to repeat that success with her current single, "I Do Not Hook Up". But not all is lost because Kelly is releasing a third single it just just happens to be my favorite song on her amazing new album called, "Already Gone". It's such a beautiful ballad produced by hit-maker Ryan Tedder. I've already posted the song twice on my blog and gushed and gushed about how good it is so I'm going to post it again… at least not the album version. Here is a LIVE version of "Already Gone" for your listening pleasure. Kelly's vocals on this live performance are a nice reminder as to why America voted her as their first "Idol".

With Kelly Clarkson's new album, it must have been really hard to choose a next single to release on the radio waves, but it seems that they have done just that. "Already Gone" is set to be her next single, and believe me, this heart-breaker of a song is so incredibly catchy that it's going to be stuck in people's head internationally.

This was all proven to be fact when Joseph Kahn 'tweeted' everyone that he had just finishing shooting a video with Kelly, and then later in an interview Kelly finally let the cat out of the bag, announcing that it was indeed for "Already Gone". She said herself that it was quite a different style than she was used to, saying that the video was very "Hollywood Glam" and very diva'ish. I hope that it leaves all the haters (who have been so very rude about her weight) drooling at the mouth when they see how beautiful she is, no matter if she is stick thin or 'regular-sized'.

Clarkson teamed up on her album with OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder on several of the tracks on her album, including 'Save You', 'If I Can't Have You', 'Impossible' and 'Already Gone', giving them all the flair that Tedder has now become famous for. Though all the songs are impressive, 'AG' has been the stand out for me from the first day I gave this CD a whirl .

Articles and Blogs alike have been giving this track the title 'haunting' and 'mysterious', I agree but beg to differ. If I could put a title on it, I would say 'beautifully heart-wrenching'. It definitely has a very sad undertone and message, and how could it not with the situation that it is describing. A relationship that was never meant to be, where no one did anything wrong, and just doesn't work. This message is sent from one side of the relationship telling the other that they could not have tried or done anything better and giving them the go-ahead to move on.

Wow, what did I tell you? I just re-read that and it's utter devastation.

Otherwise, the production on the track is absolute perfection, as well as the unmistakable vocals of Ms. Clarkson, putting emotion in every line and note she sings. I must say, It does have a similar sound to the chart-climbing "Halo" by Beyonce, (also produced by Tedder), as the chord progression seems to be very similar between these song. I personally think that the difference in the melody and in the vocals is what is going to make each of these songs stand their own ground on the charts.
