I was in WV and didn't know about it until a few hours ago This is about a mile from Mom's house: You can go to this page and see video of the same area: http://www.inrich.com/cva/ric/news.apx.-content-articles-RTD-2008-04-28-0315.html It's weird, the tornado set down less than two football fields from where one touched down in the 90s and killed a bunch of people in a Walmart. Mom and my sister and their pets are ok. No word from Foo, but our house is 10 miles away and she was at work when it touched down (about 30 miles away). She may not even know about it yet.

One of my co-workers (he only works part time in the evening where I work) was in that building at the time of the tornado. Fortunately, he is okay. I was supposed to go on an outing with my team at work. I decided I really needed to come home and make sure I had a home.

That building is about two blocks from my house. I think I need to go pee. We had it easier than the other two communities that were hit. More people were injured.

Thank the Baby Jebus for the butterfly in China who swished his wings a few extra times. From shattered storefront windows, products ripped and tossed from shelves, and vehicles in the parking lot with blown-out windows. Some vehicles even landed on top of other vehicles. A home furnishing store's roof flew off." Again, Praise be to the Flying Spaghetti Monster! The big girl's clothing store was SPARED! It is inbetween the Target and the Dress Barn. God love Fat Girls.

It's so weird to check Yahoo and see your small little hometown on the front page for the whole world to see. So odd how you never think something like this would happen until it does in this area. My family is safe so I'm happy.
