The "article" isn't anything from RealPlayer. It's just an opinion piece from the author of the Silly Hamsters blog, which partners with Real
Player.

Another reason I am suspect about the DR actually doing what Adam claims is that he is being 'allowed' to talk about it to a certain extent. Would BB
really let him talk about it so much if it were true? It's interesting to think about.

their contestants a contract that said they could fix the winner, and the contestants signed it, Deal or No Deal would be in trouble.

I have one question: are you familiar with the novel 1984 by George Orwell?
That is the origin of Big Brother. Look it up and fucking educate yourself because with every passing moment, I truly believe you know nothing. |

Anyone who gets all in a lather about IT'S RIGGED! OMGZ!11!!!!1 needs to take a deep breath and remember that this is a crappy reality show and you'll
forget 90% of the players when the next season starts. For the life of me I don't really think they are going to give a shit that as their favo player you
cried and moaned "RIGGED!" when the game didn't go their way. THEY WILL NEVER EVER MEET YOU TO SAY THANKS. As we all know this game can only be
rigged by Natty's God. KNOW THAT.

brother'. i'd be willing to bet nobody in there this season has read it, and i'd also bet most of them never heard of it.

They would have been keen to why a kid who wears a pink Mohawk and is very determined was cast . What type of stereotypical fears were raised by James in the HGs that are more mainstream ? Look at what Natty did with it ? James is an evildoer egh Its still a great social experiment . I love the game . |

I remember Dick talking about 1984 last year and no one knowing what he was talking about, except for (I think) Danielle. He had to explain it to Jen (no
surprise).
But, I totally agree, they should be made to read the book before entering the house. Better yet, give it to them instead of the stupid Bible. |

No, It's is a "reality competition" -- not a game show. The FCC made this very clear about five years ago when every Claymate on the planet
complained about his losing American Idol to Ruben Studdard. Reality competitors are compensated for their times in addition to competing for a prize.
Participants on games shows are not compensated as a general rule nor given a stipend for expanses. It's all on their own dime.
Here's a good run down on the difference between reality show competitors and actors. The fact is that this show can be produced and much as it wants. It's not rigged...producers just use extremely heavy handed tactics to get the reaction they want. Ultimately the HGs make their own decisions, but as the article above mentions, they also sign their lives away to be on the show. They have no one to blame but themselves.

I just don't know...it is kinda scary. And I would LOVE it if the Bible was shredded after this season! Having 1984 in its place would be phenomenal! |

The movie Robert Redford made about the game shows that were rigged in the 1950's called "Quiz Show." Now he can make a sequal after the second
season of Big Brother. It was definitely rigged for Will, Dani, Evel, Jen from season 8. I could go on and on but most on here have already proven the point.

I am surmising, based on the lack of intelligence in the post itself, that you failed to read the posts that addressed 1984 and the origins of Big Brother. Anyone who cries and bitches that the program is rigged is wasting their time watching the show in the first place. You might want to try Care Bears or The Smurfs, as they appear to be more your speed. Edited to fix my damn grammar.

I think that if they are going to let them read a book, it should be "How to Win Friends and Influence People." These people are clueless, they
could've used the help and it might've been funny to watch them scheme. Either way, anything would be better than a religious book. Really, I
don't think they should be allowed to read, 'cause it makes it more boring for us.
