It reminds me a lot of Palau and Cook Islands but with evergreens instead of palms. Also, the bays on the island have relatively simple but exotic names that would be perfect for tribes (Gadji, Moro, Kuto, Vao, Oro). The local people also use sails on their outriggers. Personally, I would love for the Survivors to participate in a sailing challenge. Only downside to Isle of Pines being the next season is that it's colder in the summer (59 to 74 degrees Fahrenheit), when S17 would film. I still think it's a pretty likely location for a future season, though.

So I dont see them going to some unknown place like the Isle of Pines... I have a big feeling that CBS/SEG learnt a huge lesson from season 15 and realized that they should stop going to the pacific islands.... and that is why I think they will be heading to INDIA next! China and India are very close by and I am sure some of the people on the crew might have visited India during S15... Think about it--- India has a lot of culture, diversity, and especially different types of landscapes... it would be perfect!!! They could have all types of indian-related challenges and also they could send them on a reward to the Taj Mahal! I am going to say that come May, we suckers will see a promo for: SURVIVOR: INDIA

Just that Rajasthan happens to have the nature reserves.

It just seems too Fijish and Vanuatish to me! I really hope they would do something like India, New Zealand, Egypt, or even Canada... I wonder what Probst meant about going back to the Cook Islands. i know there were talks about going there for S16... wonder what other twists they could make up... There is one problem with going to India: Population- I have been there twice, and all I can say is that the place is crowded... cities, towns, villages, etc.--- everywhere there are people... I don't know how they would shoot a reward at the Taj Mahal b/c the place is packed during the summer... and it is located smack down in the center of town...
