Posts: 32 (10/03/07 1:14 AM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I don't know if people have already talked about this yet, but the video blog of Russ's trip to China is ONLINE and can be seen under the Survivor China section in Yahoo! TV. OMG, i thought it was awesome... I mean, to hear the chinese singers chanting the actual theme was just magical... I always had an idea of how it was sung, but hearing them sing it is just out of this world.... and to see the whole process of how Russ puts the theme together is gr8. Russ actually translated the Russian lyrics to Chinese... After seeing this video, the theme sounds different after listening to it again.. the chinese chanting is more highlighted, i think... Basically, the lai ba lai ba part at the beginning, according to him, is merely melodical. Whereas the traditional folk song part translates to "I stand on the mountain looking at the beautiful crescent" and is repeated over and over.

It's just a theme, there's nothing that should be going on.
