I finally watched the Apprentice finale!!! What a great tense episode! Loved how they set up the narration to explain that they had to keep the cost of the bottle down when talking about the Roulette bottle. I've noticed they do subtle narrative things like that in episodes to set up the final decision.

When everyone was raving about the Dual bottle, I kept thinking that if Sir Alan chooses them as the winner, he's going to have to hire the designer of the bottle since it was him that came up with it and everything else followed. I found it hilarious that the narration said "somehow" the bottle design came about and then in the boardroom Alex could barely explain that it was the designer who came up with it and offered it to him. Completely justified even though Nick said, "In my opinion, Roulette = gambling = debt = misery."

And talk about stereotypically cliched. Roulette's advertising was straight out from the 80s. But it was a standard business model that would always work. Like one of the buyers said, it could be put on the shelf with the other fragrances at Tesco's and it would sell.

So tense when Sir Alan was making his final decision. Very happy for Lee. Bet he's never going to puff up his educational background again.
