Nice range and control, good connection with the song. Simon's critique was just silly. 2. David C. -- best "rocker" the show's ever had. 3. David A - I'm still not getting the hate for this kid. If anything, he seems a little scared. I don't sense arrogance or precociousness. He's got a good voice. 4. Chikezie -- I couldn't stand this guy early on, but his goofiness is growing on me. He's a not half bad singer either. 5. Amanda -- Vocally she's getting better. She's becoming a better performer too. She's a one trick pony, but it's not a bad trick. 6. Brooke -- This is basically an acoustic song and she should have done it that way. If she wanted to step out of the comfort zone, she should've picked a different kind of song. 7. Michael -- that was a mess. Plus he fucked up the lyrics and didn't get called out for it. Maybe it was harder to notice because the song was so chopped up. 8. Ramiele -- This was a terrible song to cover. I don't know who's responsible for choosing it, but almost anything would have been better. 9. Jason - He seemed contemptuous of the song. When he started to wave his arm in time w/ the music I wanted to slap him. 10. Kristy Lee -- one of my favorite Beatles songs. Not as bad as last week, but bad enough. 11. Syesha -- Just no. She totally sucks and really shouldn't be in this competition but I'm getting a bit of a soft spot for her personality and I genuinely think she's trying really, really hard unlike other people who just get to coast doing crap and to top if off they get praise for singing worse than Kristy. I'm not a Kristy fan by any means and I won't really give a shit when she goes tomorrow though.

I've come to the conclusion that even though she's sweet and has an okay personality, vocally, she sucks eggs. Girl has got to go before she becomes the running joke of the season. Picking her for the Top 24 was stupid in the first place. After singing "Amazing Grace" like a bazillion times I don't see why she deserved a spot in the semis. She was never a stand out and doesn't belong on this show.

Archuleta - See the sweet little boy sing the pretty pretty song with his pretty, pretty voice. Sing boy, sing. Watch the judges pimp the shit out of this kid. Pimp, Simon, pimp. Does Archie understand the song he sings? No. But he sings it VERY pretty, and this is good because if he does not his daddy will beat him. Jason - if you don't have time to really get to the emotional heart of a song, you can always just flirt with the girls in the audience. Hey, dude, it totally WORKS! Ramielle - Sweetie, you should have known better than to choose a song that does not showcase your skills. Syesha - Screechy and overwrought. A very typical AI performance. Chikezie - He's a little bit country, he's a little bit... what the hell was that? Michael - I heard a song today, oh boy... about a guy who did not make the grade... or remember the lyrics... David Cook-- predictable? are you all Simon mimics repeating everything he says? It was very well sung, fun to watch and the only AIdol in 7 seasons that I would like to see in concert. 3. David A-- not buying the hype or the hate like his voice and it was my 3rd favorite of the night 4. Syesha-- some redemption here.. but a bit oversung on the high notes for my taste 5. Chickezie--surprising the hell out of me. Starting to like this guy since he has made it in the top 12. Probably because he isn't just the boring R&B dude I thought he was. kewl. 6. Amanda--she did what she does..but Simon is right, it needs some revision to keep it from getting stale. 7. Michael--TOUGH song, should never have chosen this one.
