Or any of his Axium stuff. Generic is never a label I would put on someone who can write the way David does. I'm anxiously awaiting the rest of the album for his work. (Yes, I know Light On wasn't written by David. I'm not talking about LO. I'm talking about the broad scope of his work)

Sadly with each new leak off the album, I like Archie less. So now I wish they'd both fail and go away. I'm not fan of Archie's stuff but it will be a shocker if he outsells Cook by a mile. Right now, it's an Archie massacre over Cook on iTunes.

Seems like the fan base is forced to buy it over and over again. And no one is buying it over and over again (unless they want to). If you bought it while the glitch was happening, your copy didn't work. So, you needed to re-order it. So, like for me, I have 3 copies of it but only paid for two, like I intended.

So everyone of them has bought it twice whether they wanted to or not. The beauty part is that pre'sale counts as both a sale for the single and a sale for the album. Bravo, RCA. It is interesting to follow the RCA marketing plan for Cook. It's so much more aggressive than Daughtry's promo. It's like he HAS TO BE A HIT.. I'd talk about this on the sales thread but I guess we're not allowed to because of Archie/Cook fan war potential. Let's all admit that Archie has done a hell of a lot better than people here predicted. And Cook, some cracks are showing in the he'll sell more than Daughtry predictions. You don't think RCA is the only one running the buy it here and get this bonus track or buy it over here and get this other bonus track, do you?? That's the way it works. People aren't stupid. I mean, who doesn't know that if they buy the single early, that they are gonna get a duplicate when they buy the album? If they're okay with that, then they'll do it. If not, then they waited until the whole album was out for pre-order. Stop trying to make it seem all 'controversial' when it isn't really any more than how the business works these days. As for the whole Cook vs. Daughtry bit. Who cares? The media can flap about the Daughtry thing all they want. Cook is a hell of a lot more talented than Egghead will ever be. I'd pit AH vs. Daughtry anyday. IMO, AH (an indie album made on no money that Cook put together by himself with the help of his friends) is far superior to Daughtry's slicked up studio album. JMO. and as we've said time and again..you can't compare Archie and Cook. Apples and Oranges.
