David Cook - nice job. It sounded genuine, not WANNABE.

Jason Castro - One of my all-time favorite groups. One of my all time favorite versions. I wish somebody on the show would sing THE FUTURE or EVERYBODY KNOWS.

Danny Noriega - "And then I turned as red as a little tomato... TMTH"... Gawd that was hilarious and awesome. I knew that "Tainted love" would be divisive. He really needs to sing some real soul or something. At least Danny has some modern taste. Most of these guys are really out of touch with today's music. I think Danny is really strong on his musical sense, but he's very high strung. Simon is cracking up, always has a HUGE grin on his face when Danny sasses him. It's awesome. Thanks for doing uptempo.

Michael - He has bad taste. I don't think he's that musical. Simon hit the nail on the head: He's better doing soul than he is doing wannabe rock. The low end of his range sounds poor, not great. In his low register, he sounds like he's talking, not singing.

David Archuleto - It's the usual. I don't really get him at all. But he was OK today.

David Hernandez - technically OK. But his voice just sounds so damn affected. It's squeezed down & nasal, and I hate those kind of voices. Also, overall the different parts of the vocals didn't sound good together. The soft parts were thin and almost inaudible... When he belts, it sounds like he's pinching a loaf. Probably not fair, but I don't like DH's voice.

Chikeze - Hate this guy's singing. Nice guy. No charisma on stage.

Luke - by far the worst. Who told him that his falsetto sounds good? It's too damn thin sounding for a lead vocal. It sounds like he's poking fun when he sings falsetto like that... like he was on SNL or Mad TV or something. Terrible.
