If this ep didn't warrant this I don't know what would. Who else was screaming/praying for her to pick up the bloody phone and who else just melted when she did? :)

I gotta admit, I was not a big fan of Pesmond's last episode (the one with him being a priest, I thought that one sucked), but this one...I mean, you just aren't HUMAN if you didn't thoroughly enjoy that phone call scene. |

Ha, thanks GIAA. I DID check the index first ;)
I liked the Priest ep mostly because of the great way it played with time (nothing compared to this of course) but this was by far better. Just wow. They hit casting gold with Sonya Walger. |

The Penny Desmond "theme" is the most beautiful piece of music the show's ever had, and just hearing it makes me well up.

What's the best is that these actors truly make you think that their characters are in love- you can see it in their eyes...
I lurve Pesmond! |

After this I think my fave Penny scene, the one that got me the most on the edge of your seat, was when her transmission was finally picked up by the Looking
Glass. When Charlie saw and spoke to her and he mentioned Desmond. Her reaction.... wow. Then "Who's Naomi?" and the whole show just turns upside
down. LOVE. IT.
I love that she had a Christmas tree up. We were joking at my place that I was disappointed we didn't get a typical TV Christmas ep on this show with Sawyer hitting his head and being visited by 3 Ghosts Sawyer, wakes up "You there boy, what day is this?" Walt, in 1890s garb, "Today? Why it's Christmas day." |

::raises hand:: I was bawling like a baby! I <3 Desmond and Penny. Henry Ian Cusick is another one of those actors that can act so well with just his eyes.

I'll be mega pissed if anything happens to either of them before they can be physically re-united! I'm also pulling for Nayid.....Sayidia? |

ha I like Nayid :) and yes they need to be reunited.

This episode was satisfying on so many levels, but the icing on the cake was Desmond and Penny finally reuniting (over the phone).
Long hair Desmond is definitely hotter than army Desmond. |

Heh. It is becoming clear that the love story of Lost is Penny and Desmond. The Jack/Kate/Sawyer stuff looks ridiculous by comparison. |

Heck forget that, the Penny/Desmond romance could go into the top 5 TV romances ever! The passion of Desmonds risking life and limb through time and space and
conciousness, Penny realizing she really does love this little rogue, and the search to reunite! What love!
Yes I cried at the phone scene, and I usually don't cry at anything, ever. Haven't cried at a movie in years! But I cried at this. Best.episode.ever. (ok maybe not but LOVE IT!) |

This is definitely one of my top TV romances for sure. I 'm so glad I didn't have to wait another 2 years for that moment.
Army Desmond reminds me of that guy that does Dinner Impossible on the Food Network. |
