I can't wait to see Rosseau's flashback episode where we meet her crewmates and their fate.

AFK, I reject your theory just based on the simple assumption that Team Darlton doesn't want the whole theory of them being on the island to be that
complex. Sure, they were 'meant' to crash there, but I doubt it has anything to do with time travel. I think all that shit is a remote, isolated
relation to JUST Desmond (and I guess Faraday).

I aske this in another thread but who did the innoculating and was Claire also innoculated? |

Desmond was shooting himself up with some stuff too. It seemed to be an innoculation at the time.

Wait couple questions....
Back to when he went into the past with the old lady, and everything after he turned the failsafe key.... How was he with Penny if he said in 1996 he will call her in 2004 ... How could they meet in 2001 and take that picture together??? |

How could they meet in 2001 and take that picture together???According to the Lostpedia timeline, the picture and events of Flashes Before My Eyes happened in 1996 |

Well, I guess the island or something the Dharma initiative built on the island is the source, but either way it's happening to Desmond not coming from him. |

That was a beautiful episode. Fantastic. Loved every bit of it. The series has to end with Desmond getting back with Penny. It has to.
It's apparent that there's no difference of time on or off the island since equal time has passed for both. But there appears to be some sort of anomaly surrounding the island that slows things down to outside observers. I think it's implied that the experiments Faraday had been doing caused the long term memory problems he has. But what if he actually exposed himself on purpose? It might explain why he left that message for himself. He knows he'll meet Desmond in eight years again and by leaving the message, it's implied he knew his memory was going to be wonky. So we know what Faraday is on the island for. Miles is there to find Ben but why did they need a paranormal psychic in the first place? And what's Charlotte there for? How does it tie to Dharma polar bears in Tunisia? Teleportation maybe? |

I want to know how much they know about Desmond... The helecopter pilot memorized the manifest and when he met Juliet, and he made a big deal out of the fact
that she was a "native."
They had that picture of Desmond and Penny and weren't surprised that Desmond was asking about it. Then when the helicopter landed on the freighter, the thugs asked who they were and the pilot said that they were 815 survivors (like he was trying to cover up the fact that Desmond wasn't). So I'm guessing the 4 from the helicopter + Naomi knew who Desmond was, Minkowski figured it out because of the transmissions from Penny, and the rest of the freighties don't know anythying. |

I wonder if the helicopter pilot guy is Ben's spy on the boat?
The freighter guys seem like real nimrods. Real redshirts to the core. |

I like the theory that the Ben's insider is Michael.

I don't like that theory at all, but I wouldn't be even a little surprised if that turns out to be the case.
What IF this explains how Locke's father had no idea how he showed up on the island. He was "driving" I believe and "blacked out" and suddenly was on the island. That wasn't quite how it happened, he was in an accident, and then on the ambulance he blacked out. I just assumed that the ambulance was Ben's people and they drugged him to bring him to the island via submarine. I'm thinking whatever caused the submarine to have a "bumpy ride" is also what they thought was the thunderhead the helicopter flew into. |

It would appear that you can only transfer your consciousness to yourself in a different time, although it would be very interesting if Dharma or someone was
working on transferring your consciousness into a different body. It wouldn't surprise me at all if someone as powerful as Widmore would try to
gain immortality in this way. Perhaps many things are possible on the island or using the funky purple ray beyond just time teleportation and healing. But if
healing doesn't work for you, and you're an old rich goomer, plopping your consciousness into someone else's poor body is the way to go. I could
see Paik and Widmore battling it out to get access to such a possibility.
And why didn't Faraday shield his head from the purple ray? If the point is to transfer your consciousness, or id, or Chakras, then why only shield the rest of your body like at the dentist's office? Is Faraday's consciousness carried in his ass or reproductive organs? Another possible tie in with reproductive problems on the island. Speaking of Chakras....
Chakra are commonly described, as above, as energy centers in the spine located at major branchings of the human nervous system, beginning at the base of the spinal column and moving upward to the top of the skull. Chakras are considered to be a point or nexus of metaphysical and/or biophysical energy of the human body. The following primary chakras are commonly described:
Chakras in the head from lowest to highest are: talu/talana/lalana, ajna, manas, soma, brahmarandra, sri (inside sahasrara,) sahasrara. The concept of Chakra are often treated in different ways, depending on the cultural context. In Chinese medicine, traditional chakra locations correspond
to acupuncture points. In some Eastern thought, chakras are considered to be gradations of consciousness and reflect states of the soul--these systems rely
less on proof than on experience (under the assumption that 'proving' the existence of chakras is asking to 'prove' the existence of the
thought process). A mystic may deal with chakra as a model for their internal and external experience, and when talking about 'energy centers', may be
talking about subtle forces which connect to the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of a person.
The primary importance and level of existence of chakras is posited to be in the psyche. However, there are those who believe that chakras have a physical
manifestation as well. Some authors say that there is a relationship between the positions and functions of the chakras, and of the various organs of the
endocrine system. It is noted by many that there is a marked similarity between the positions and roles described for chakras, and the positions and roles of
the glands in the endocrine system, and also by the positions of the nerve ganglia (also known as "plexuses") along the spinal cord (branching to
plexuses by endocrine glands or organs), opening the possibility that two vastly different systems of conceptualization have been brought to bear to systemize
insights about the same phenomenon. By some, chakras are thought of as having their physical manifestation in the body as these glands, and their subjective
manifestation as the associated emotional, mental and spiritual experiences.

Well, maybe we'll see ol' Fischer some more, just like we're supposed to see Libby.According to EW, we might not get that until next season, if at all, because of the strike. |

This is going off the 'live forever' theory....so what if Ben has another conciousness inside him...like Jacob? Maybe Jacob is using Ben's body to stay alive and that's why they want Ben..to find Jacob. |

Or perhaps Jacob, whoever he was, had his consciousness transferred to or absorbed by the island. Jacob could be from the Black Rock or the ancient Bigfoot
civilization. Or maybe not.
