So i'm rewatching Survivor Africa (cause i'm a nerd) and i'm once again reliving the moments of the greatest survivor of all time Frank Garrison. So I thought it was about time we list the reasons we love Frank. I'm sure I could come up with all 101 if I thought hard enough, but that would be no fun. So hopefully as a group we can come up with the list together, cause there are numerous reasons to love this American Hero.
Some off the top of my head
1.
Carl: Frank, what branch of the military were you in?
Frank: The American branch, it's called freedom
2.
Everyone playing a exciting game of I Never and Frank participating by saying he never broke the honor of a handshake
3.
The names of his kids...Jocelyn Rose and Sage Hunter
4.
Him wittling his kid's and wife's name into his torch so they were always with him
5.
His aversion to the snooze button, and the fact he woke his kids up every morning before the sunrise just like he did with the whole Samburu tribe
6.
Frank's deer antlers and his pre-challenge ritual with them
7.
"Even in the face of defeat, you never give up. Not till the end" ~ Frank Garrison
8.
Frank not bidding on anything in the food auction. He likes to save his money <3
9.
His refusal to do letterman cause he made a mockery of fellow Survivor contestants
10.
The best final words in history
"To my lovely wife Polly Ann and my daughters, Jocelyn Rose and Sage Hunter, thank you for your unselfish sacrifices you made so I could go on this adventure. As you husband, as your father and as your friend, I apologize for not meeting the objective that I told you about, but I give you my word of honor that down the road, I will make all your dreams come true. I love you and I miss you. Thank you."
Now you go!
