I know they are all gaga about the Freighters but shouldn't they go down to the Looking Glass and get Charlies' corpse and give it a proper burial? Its not like he was blown up real good. He drowned. So I'd assume the writers dangled this piece of info just in case someone figures out a way to get back in there if they need to use the equipment to talk to the outside world or Penny. Of course the person to do that might be Desmond. My guess is that the communications are now open as long as Penny doesn't hang up or terminate the connection so it would be possible to use the equipment in the future. But in the mean time if Charlie is floating around in the room that would be one heck of a screen saver on Penny's monitor. I'd fully expect that if they go back to the hatch that Charlie will not be floating in the communications room and that all traces of him will have disappeared. THis will add to the questions and mystery about what actually happened to him.

Of Course, that's not what I thought of when I saw the episode title. I assumed they were talking about Naomi because I really thought she was dead up until 6 days ago and then she really did die. Y'all are way more in tune to the LOST stuff than I am.
