Yet it's consistently lost steam over the past 3 years ratings wise.
Is anyone else out there having a hard time swallowing the bitter pill, recognizing that the end of this great show is probably closer than we all think?
I know that it's still a competitive top 20 show for the majority of the television season but at the same time interest has waned...Even I don't flinch anymore if I miss an episode whereas in the first few seasons I never missed an eppy.
That being said, it will be a sad day when they close shop on this show and I, for one, will forever and a day think that they would be stupid NOT to bring it back at some point.
But isn't it time for Survivor to take a hiatus? For the sake of production? Interest on both levels (production and viewers...Let's be honest, both parties have decisively plummetted over the years) and Probst (who seems to be set on auto pilot)?
I don't think it's a question of, "If," but only, "When?"
