As usual, no commercial after the BOMP.
At least one team is lost. Az/Hend already confused. They turn left at Sunset Bl. Other teams turn right. Staella snapping at Ari. Lorena brags that they're from LA. For all the city to hear. At least one racer is positive they were supposed to turn LEFT. Many went right. First to 405, several teams in rapid sequence. Several teams are lost, asking directions. Grandpa/Pilot turn around. Other teams are shocked that they're turning. Getting directions, Hend discovers they went the wrong way. British Airways has a few seats, but not enough for all the teams. (The usual.) What's funny is watching teams in the lead think they're lost. 
First to the airport: Lorena/Jason. BA. Several teams board Az/Hend's van at the airpark, just as Shana/Jennifer 2nd on BA. Kate/Pat 3rd on BA. Nathan/Jennifer ... on BA. Teams running ... clamoring to get to the counter ... Mariana/Julia, BA. Az/Hend, nervous, as they are told the tix are running out. SORRY, says the airline agent. No dice. Az/Hend and the other teams miss the BA flight. COMMERCIAL. |

Hend conf: We're overachievers. We don't like to lose.
The BA teams gloat at having a 45 minute head start, as their plane departs. Someone lets Az/Hend borrow a laptop. Ronald/Christina seem to have an informal alliance with them. They make reservations for a taxi before taking their flight to Britain. The BA flight goes through London. Aer Lingus, departing later, goes through Dublin. Teams arrive in Dublin. Shocker! It's raining. Taxis for everyone.
Scene: Ferry to Innes Moor island. Phil: They have to find this temple, the smallest church in the world, and sign up for ferries leaving 8 am, 8:30, 9:30. |

Apparently the "early" flight has less than the anticipated 45 minute head start, likely due to disparate routes.
First to the Ferry: Az/Hend. Second to Ferry: Ronald/Christina. Already: Taxi drama. "You took our taxi." "No."
Okay, this "Love letter to the planet, can't hopskotch around it" is making me dislike ... a ... minister.

More peeps who can't read directions. Teams get off the ferry and go in OPPOSITE directions.
It either says left, or right. Right?? Okay, the "little gothic energizer bunnies" is more distracting in realtime than it was in the ad. Yuck. Thank heaven for typecasting. We already have our Peter/Limpy, too, doing the Lockhorns routine.
Teams finally SEE the temple and climb up a hill to it. Teams get their ferry reservations as they arrive one-right-after-another. D'oh!! Was I way off for the ferry stuff, or what?? (Needless to say, I'm rusty.) Five teams get the 9:30 (last) ferry. Ari/Staella are being obnoxious. Tres shocking. Goths give up a bed for Ronald/Christina. How wonderful!! Teams bed down for the night, but not before a little more drama. One team says"two fairies on a ferry."

Phil: They'll ride a tandem bike along a marked route, for the next clue. Teams take vehicles from the ferry landing. Lorena is in near-meltdown mode over ... directions. "We're going toward GALLOWAY! We have to GO THE OTHER WAY! LISTEN TO MEEEE!!!" COMMERCIAL. |

and  at the teams on the last ferry being all of the female teams, and 2 family teams. We could not have even been teased w/ the possible elimination
of one of the CA couples? Damn.
