Kynt: We made a statement today! Woman's voice to donkey: If you don't move I'm gonna kick your ass! Phil: TK/Rachel, you are team #3. Ronald sings "Danny Boy" as he drags Christina across the highwire. Lorena/Jason finish donkey trail as Nathan/Gimpy argue. Ronald/Christina pass them next!! Kate/Pat do the highwire in 10th. Shana/Jennifer, currently in last, do highwire. Nic/Grandpa finish donkeying in 5th, head for the pitstop. Phil: Lorena/Jason, you are team #4. Kate/Pat load their donkey. Marianna/Julia TUGGING at their donkey, which bodes badly for them. Shana/Jennifer quickly race past them, coaxing their donkey. Then, they pass additional teams. Watch their numbers change: 10th place. 9th. 8th. 7th. 6th!!! Phil: Nicolas/Donald, you're team #5.

Mariana sees them, and drags hers by the neck. Finally Mariana/Julia and Nathan/Dimpy finish donkey rides. Phil: Ronald/Christina, you're team #7. Ronald: WHOA! Who's your daddy! Phil: Kate/Pat, you're team #8. A 4-way hug, Pat/Kate/Ronald/Christina.

Once it got down to the final 5-6 teams i figured one of those 2 would be the ones going since the others didn't get much screentime(well maybe asian father/daughter). I haven't had one since TAR4 and I just want to experience it without any clues. This cast is older than usual. No alpha male teams. Lots of physically weak teams. I loved the father/daughter and the brother/sister. Ari was horrible. I could never have stood a whole season of him. That team made me long for Aaron/Arianne. I really didn't like Nathan and Jennifer at all. Quite frankly, I was on the side of the donkey. When the donkey was squealing/crying, I wanted to go smack the two of them. Notice how the teams that were nice to the donkeys did better? I like the ministers. They are not a fast team and I doubt they are long in the race. However, the Gutsy Grannies and STAVE proved that a slow or even injured team can still last as long as other teams are making mistakes. The father/daughter will probably fall apart soon. I hope we won't see just dating couples in the finals. Basically this season made me nostalgic for past teams. The blondes made me nostalgic for the Beauty Queens. The Grandfather/grandson made me nostalgic for Jim/Marsha. The brother/sister didn't seem to have the humor of TnT, but will probably last much longer. Since Nathan isn't particularly charming, there's no eye candy other than Phil. 11 legs? I hope that doesn't mean a shorter season. Last season was spectacular. Even if All Stars had a fake team winning, the season as a whole was wonderful and had lots of great teams on it. Perhaps some let down was inevitable. But I will give these teams another chance.

The last half of the season was almost unwatchable. I think this season may be more slow and steady. Or boring. I'm not sure which I prefer. Like you, I'm trying to avoid spoilers, for now.

Sorry, but the 'princess' angle works if your 20, not 42 like them old crusty bitches. - Couple #1 - LOVE that they didnt get eliminated. That little blonde chick is gonna make for some great drama. - Asian Father/Daughter - Ok, I get it. Now stop fucking smiling. That annoying smiling chick is gonna make me hurl my non-specific asian food item. Good to see they are gonna melt down next week. - The Two Gay 'Clergy' - man, those guys are really out of shape. How are those guys gonna sustain? I dont think those guys will last long. - The Black 'Angelina and Her Brother' couple - my wife said - 'what they are brother and sister and not a couple?' I got some creepy incest vibes from them. I think she's cute, but from the profile, the guy looks like those kids with the disease called 'Progeria' - if you recall, there were some in the remake of Island of Dr Moreau with Val Kilmer a few years ago. 'Smart' couple. With stupid fuggin' names. - The 'Goth' couple. 'Oh my goth'. Arent they breaking a major rule of goth by wearing pink? And, they dont look that 'outrageous' - just like every other kid that shops at Hot Topic. She looks fucking huge though. Are they gonna put that makeup shit on during every leg? Oh, and you mean to tell me the goth guy isnt gay? I dont buy it. 'Vyxsin' - ROFL - 'Hi, I'm Vyxsin' - Nice to meet you Katie. They remind me of the Chris Kattan skit on SNL. - Couple #2. The chick is kinda cute. The guy looks like Mark Wahlberg. I think they'll go far in the game. - Gramps and Pilot - no chance. - The hippies - ok, a dude from SoCal with a beard and dreads - wow, that's unique. My gut is the kid's family is loaded. I think they might go far though. - The eliminated couple. She was Rebecca 2.0 and he was the queeniest queen of all queens. Kinda sad they lost. I would have liked to laugh at him and her for a couple of episodes before he annoyed the shit out of me. - The Latina sisters - they look really hot in the intros, but not so much during the race. One looked to have a muffin ass. And does she really go by 'Hoo-lee-uh' and not 'Joo-lee-uh'? Everytime they said that, it made me think of the 'Antooooonnnniiiiooooo Saaaancheez' skit with Jimmy Smits and Phil Hartman on SNL.
