As much as I love her and loved her European accent I doubt she'll win American Idol.
She should try out for Australian Idol, they love their Irish imports. |

I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and say she was really nervous because of what happened 2 years ago and that the song choice wasn't the best one
she could have made.
I really liked her though. She's another Gina GlocksonSweet fucking jesus, that's a really big insult. She couldn't possibly have been that horrendous, or that fake. |

I thought she was good but is American Idol going to end up a competition between an Irish plant and an Aussie plant. Somehow, I don't see that happening.

Where the fuck did the Gina Glockson comparison come from? Fattina Glockson always presented herself as a faux rocker.
Fortunately, this girl didn't! She freak'in sang Chaka Khan, plus her voice was amazing! I hope she goes very far this season! |

I liked her voice but just know that (from VFTW):
"Carly Smithson is the epitome of a record industry failure. She was brought to America by MCA Records and recorded a ... pop album that sold only 300 copies" Her label spent millions on her and her failure is actually studied in business school. As long as people know that and don't care, it's fine. I guess the whole UNDISCOVERED talent part of this show is in the crapper. I think unsigned is all that counts now. |

Hate to say it, but this bitch can sing (however she pussed out on the "falsetto" part). I don't like the fact she is being pimped hardcore and the goth/tattoo image. But vocally I loved it. PS: I don't see her as the winner either, SO FAR that title belongs to aussie Micheal Lee |

The Wall St. Journal actually wrote a story about her label's failure. I think the big problem is that her single was about oral sex and I think she was
only 17 at the time.
