I can see a way the girls could con him. Say Natalie and Cerie convince him that they have an F3 deal with him before he wins IC. They warn him that Natalie is the target to be booted, and "Not you." Eric has the necklace, and Cerie suggests that she doesn't trust him to vote with her and Nat. Cerie sadly tells him that she can't risk voting to save Natalie only to be on the outside VS Eric-Amanda-Parv at F4 if Eric switches his vote.. BUT, she tells him, if Nat is NOT booted, she will honor the F3 with Nat and Eric. So giving the IN to Nat becomes a sign of trust that he will vote with his new F3 alliance.
Interchange names based on the idea that Eric thinks he's securing an F3 alliance at F4 and there you have it. Yeah it's a dumb scenario, but maybe Eric could fall for something like that.
So they convince him they have an F3 deal with him....and then ask him to give the immunity necklace up because Natalie is being targeted by the other two?
So they would have three votes...enough to send Parvati or Amanda home...but Erik is supposed to think that giving up the immunity necklace is necessary in
that scenario? So then Cirie says she doesnt trust him to vote with them.....so Erik is supposed to give up immunity to win over Cirie's trust, when he
could just keep immunity and vote with them anyway to prove his loyalty to them?
Perhaps Erik will do something stupid, but its probably not as dumb as just giving away immunity. I think that if Erik goes home, it'll be because both sides (presumably Cirie/Natalie and Parvati/Amanda) want him to join there side, and he gets caught going back and forth and gets voted out because all 4 girls dont want their fates in his hands.
The more I think about it, I think Erik should make the final 4. I really dont understand what him being the biggest physical threat has to do with him being the biggest threat to win the game. He's just kind of bounced around and had a lot of luck and fortunate events occur. Jonathan and Kathy going out of the game likely eliminated 2 immunity challenges his tribe would have to win....and he would have been out of there if they had lost one more. Ami's game fell apart, and Erik benefited from that. Both Ozzy and Jason being targeted for blindsidings helped him slide under the radar.....then he won two immunities, and James went home, which (with Amanda's immunity) caused Alexis' blindsiding. What has Erik really masterminded or controlled in the game? Does he even have any real allies? Especially ones who arent strongly allied to remaining players? The more I think about it, the more I think they'd be stupid to boot him.
That being said, Erik probably goes home, but doing so could be a big blunder for either Cirie, Parvati or Amanda by not eliminating one of the other two as a bigger end-game threat.
