I would think that no news leans late than early. This is going on the more solid placements of the early boots like Fairplay, Yau, Tracy, and Mary.
The later a person is rumored to go, the more vague the rumors are. Fairplay is first, Mary is second, Yau and Tracy are among the first 4 or 5 to go, then we start getting into "pre-jury", "early jury", then it starts getting foggy with "mid to late jury" or "mid to late game". By the time we get to what could be the final 5 or 6, we don't have solid placements.
Only Alexis and Natalie have information posted about the family visit. Those two are certainly not the only ones who make the family visit.
It could be seen as good signs for longevity for Cirie, Jonathan, and Joel. The ONLY reason there's been mention of them going early is because of the assumption that there is a 7 member jury and that the jury begins in the final 10. People here have needed more people to round out the pre-jury list.
The seasons with 19 or 20 people with a final 3 have begun their juries in the final 12. For a half-ass season, it makes sense to have a larger jury since you want a good mix of fans and favorites making the final decision. It adds variety to the voting pool that way.
According to what seems to have been stated, we have our pre-jury group of 8 already established (Fairplay, Mary, Yau, Tracy, Kathleen, Chet, Ami, and Mike). I suppose there could be some argument about Mike though.
I'd go out on a limb to say that the final 5 are Natalie, Alexis, Joel, Jonathan, and Cirie.
I'd be willing to go further and say that the alliance of Amanda-Ozzy-Parvati-James are toppled (as I stated once before), which leads us to the above final 5.
I am suprised that people haven't considered that before. Jonathan/Cire would be at the bottom of the couple's alliances. so it makes sense they might flip.
