I think Taj will be our mother, not Debbie. Although Debbie has been shown acting more motherly (comforting Sierra during Coach's storytime), Debbie also
has some other strange behaviors. For one, she she seems to be completely unconnected to the story and is really just there. The few times she is shown, she is
shown complaining about Coach, shown as too trusting, or "flirting" with Tyson.
In regards to episode 2 when Erinn pointed out the idea of placing too much trust in people they haven't known, Debbie was shown as being wrong thanks to the music and overall editing of that episode. Cautious players, as reinforced by JT, are going to benefit in the game. Can Debbie be our mother when the Outcasted Daughter (who is now fitting in with the Father, Son, and real Mother, in Taj, Stephen, and Jt) proves her wrong? With Tyson's boot coming any day now, here's what I predict of our final 6.
Father- JT
Mother- Taj
Son- Stephen
Daughters- Sierra, Erinn
E- Coach (although he views himself as a father, he is the Eccentric one in the family)
If Debbie were to make the final 6, I find that she leans more toward a Daughter role than a mother due to her playful nature, lack of airtime, and her trusting nature. She hasn't been shown as savvy enough to be the mother, and although mothers aren't always shown as scheming, they certainly aren't shown as being wrong in a fight with children, and they would most likely have more than a ditsy tourist edit that Debbie has been receiving. (Remember the whole "digging a fire pit" scene?)
