If any of you get HD Showcase on Demand, the first episode is available in HD. They also have two short videos about the show. They have cast and crew
interviews in the Behind the Scenes. They did say that they won't be glorifying meth use, but will show how it affects lives, etc.

You can watch season 1 of Dexter on CBS starting February 17th. Just don't expect Doakes and Deb to say very much, considering that 90% of their dialogue
is profanity, which will have to be censored out.

Yeah, I'm gonna pass on that. I tried to catch it at Target while it was on sale but everyone I went too was sold out. Maybe I'll just rent it instead.
I've only had on demand a couple of months, so I haven't been able too see the whole season of Californication either. Do the ever put the whole season back up, because right now it's just a mish-mash of about 7 episodes. |

Just watched it ON Demand, awesome show. Glad it did well in the ratings. I don't remember any hand job scene, must of edited out.

the pacing of this show is interesting.
picking up on the last ep was amazing. its like "24". he's still shagging the wife. and they spent an entire ep on dealing with the bodies (or body) from the pilot. still unresolved (or un-dissolved). dexter was tough, but at least he was killing fucks that deserved to be killed. i could somehow get behind that. bb. it is ambitious. i like it. but how do you do what you know you have to do, but you don't want to do, when you have to do it... that is now our bb dilemma. i guess that is the next ep (i don't watch previews) ... * hey, speaking of which probstie... are they spoiling in "the wire" thread? i'd love to talk about that show over there. i just don't want to know, you know... * |

There are spoilers for the first 7 episodes, but anything that hasn't aired yet is in spoiler tags, so you won't get accidentally spoiled just by
reading the thread.
You should post there, sofa, we miss you this season. As for Breaking Bad, I think the guy in the basement is in the same situation as Doakes was in Dexter. He's got to go. There's just no way around it. |

I love this show so much.
If Mr. White has 3 months to live due inop Lung Ca, you just know they're gonna find out it's a misdiagnosis and he'll be stuck in this life as a meth dealer. Or summat. Maybe not. If anyone knows, DON'T TELL ME! |

In the pilot they said he could have up to 2 years with treatment. So that buys him some time. If each season of the show lasts a few months they could
stretch it out if they have to.

The show was even darker this ep, then in the pilot. There's so much tension underneath it all, it's almost uncomfortable to watch.

I was convinced after the first episode that this was the best new show on tv, but this weeks sealed the deal...
excellent ending... and they way they set it up was brilliant... you could see if coming from a mile a way but the satisfaction of the plop was still amazing... |
