I think it's pretty much confirmed at this point. There is still some question as to whether one of the contestants may be an alternate, but that list of
10 is probably accurate.

I am not really sure about Amanda either... I mean, Probst said in his TV guide interview that if Amanda "goes back to being timid", she might
find it tougher to win the game. She was "timid" tonight, or atleast the editors showed her to be that.

Still hoping Zesty's list is true haha. I really can't see them doing HalfASS and it's not like former Survivors don't collectively hoard this
board, let's be real. Still they may surprise me, didn't think the race twist was real either.

Bringing some info over from TwoP that could be useful. For some background, Babalu is a long time poster at TwoP who has a sister who is a flight attendant
with Continental Micronesia. Last year, near the end of TARAS, Babalu's sister served on the flight that took the TAR production team, The Guidos,
Uchenna and Joyce, and Oswald and Danny from Guam to Honolulu. Well, Babalu's sister has now met some Survivor 16 people. See below.
Well, apparently Continental Micronesia is the official airline of reality show spoilers because Jeff Probst is on my sister's flight today. I don't have any details because she just left me a voicemail message and because she was sort of shrieking, but I'm guessing the flight was from Guam to Honolulu and that the season has just wrapped.
My sister got home last night and said that JFP was also on the Probst flight from Guam to Honolulu. When I mentioned the rumors about a 1/2-former
contestants/1/2-newbies season, she agreed that seemed likely since, sitting next to JFP on the plane was a buxom blonde named Tracy (unknown if that's
her real name or a fake name). Tracy said she'd been one of the survivors and that they were all on this flight. Kat (sister) didn't recognize anyone
other than Probst (the only one in first class), JFP, and an "older Asian man," whom we believe to be Yau Man. When she's home for more than a
day, I'll have her come over and show her pictures of some of the rumored contestants to see if she can ID anyone else.
This is another confirmation of a newbie contestant named Tracy on the show and from the description, she might actually be Tracie Kelley who was thought to be a Cook Islands contestant. I suspect that JFP and Tracie had some bonding time in Loser Lounge as they started out on different tribes. Maybe Babalu will find out some more info. |
