Yeah but I think Coby posted that Terry wasn't demanding money, however Tom was. And right after the contestants left for Palau, Terry posted a blog on the
CBS site saying that he was "still here" and that "it wasn't about the money." It definitely seemed like he was bummed not to have been
in the final cast.

But ideally I would've prefered Ozzy AND Terry. Would've been awsome to see them square off. Even though in the first ASS there were tons of showdowns we were waiting for, but never happened. I personally find Ozzy to be a complete bore, but luckily for him he was in a season of duds, so he stood out more. |

Yeah, it's weird. I hated (HATED) Terry during season 12, but he's actually someone I was looking forward to seeing again, to see if he would play/act
any different. I'd certainly have taken him over Ozzy.

Terry is one of the only ones I'm positive wouldn't be any different.
Since there were only 10 spots, I think it's a really strong group they assembled. A lot of the people everyone was hoping for are there, and in a full ASS cast we would have gotten the duds everyone was dreading. The only glaring omission for me is Shane and maybe Twila to a lesser extent, but I can understand their rationale for choosing the others. I'm also happy to have half new people since they're the needed chink in the armor that will screw up all the All Stars' pre-planned strategies and pre-existing relationships. If it was all All Stars, it would have been boring, predictable, and disappointing. Guaranteed. Some of you are still holding on to your dreams of an epic CLASH OF THE TITANS season. It won't happen. We also know that at ten people on the cast are good going into it, while we have 10 more to get to know. How many other seasons can you say that for? |

Eliza, Ami, and Twila were all too connected on their season to have all three I think. There are three from Cook Islands, but we didn't really see any of them interact all that much. |

In All Stars I, we were disappointed for no Colleen, Elizabeth, Sean Rector, Brian Heidik, Helen, and a few others (okay, not everyone was disappointed with
their absences).
You can't have everyone back. Shane, the chain smoker, wouldn't be able to handle it again. Stephanie did it twice already, Terry and Twila likely turned it down. I'm just surprised that they had NOBODY from Palau. I fully understand the lack of representation from Guatemala, but not Palau. That is, if the cast listed on page 1 is truly who will be showing up. If there is to be a season of 20 people, this coming one is the one to have that many. |

I agree, Ian back would've been awesome. And the lack of anyone from Palau and especially Guatemala really bugs me. Ugh...this should've been a full
ASS2, or at the very least pre-jury vs post-jury. This half-ASS stuff really annoys me.

If there is to be a season of 20 people, this coming one is the one to have that many.I agree, but I just hope that this doesn't mean seasons 17+ will have that many, kinda like how the first ASS set the trend for regular seasons having 18+ people on them. I'm fine with there being extra people on an All-Stars (or half-ASS I guess) season, but if it's all regular folks then I want 16 people and that's it! |

rembeber after allstars how they has the million dollar show and rupert wonI kinda doubt it, but if the writers strike doesn't end soon, CBS might wanna milk it for all its worth and get a few extra episodes out of it. It might be slightly more interesting if only because there aren't any Rupert-level fan-favorites in this cast, although in all likelihood Yau-Man would end up walking away with America's million. It would be pretty unfair though unless they let the newbies in on a chance at winning the million too, especially if an All-Star ends up winning the season! Can you imagine how big of a slap in the face that would be to the newbies? To hear Jeff say something at the reunion along the lines of - "Well one of the All-Stars just won the million dollar prize of Survivor 16 - Now tune in next week and vote to give another million dollars to one of the other All-Stars!" Besides, I firmly believe that the first "America's Tribal Council" was done not because it was an All-Star season, but rather because CBS just wanted a way to give a million bucks to Rupert. Since he couldn't manage to do it himself, they stepped in. Seriously, does anybody seriously believe that any of the other 17 All-Stars ever had a shot at winning that million? |

This "Truck" guy sounds like he could be the next Rupert. Out of all the newbies, he'd probably have the best shot at winning a popularity vote.
I doubt they'll do it, though. I think America's Tribal Council was a one time thing due to the massive popularity of Rupert. |
