My guess is that the tribes will have actual names but Probst will call them Fans and Favorites--- like he did in S12 when he called the tribes "younger women, older women, younger men, older men" during that first IC.

The release came and went despite prior postings on the TES site. Wezzie-perhaps you could fill us in a little more on the cast release. Why exactly did you specifically say Entertainment Weekly? Did you mean Entertainment Tonight, the TV show? How did you find out about this information? Is The Early Show going to carry a preview or not.

Doesn't seem to be a very modern release method to use a magazine in the age of the internet. So, what about the official site? What does this new release method do for the prospects of the site being up tomorrow?

Survivor Spotlight We've received word from CBS that the cast of the fans versus favorites season, aka Survivor: Micronesia, will be revealed January 7, 2008. We remain hopeful someone from the Tennessee Valley made the cut. We did hear from a woman who was contacted by the producers of Kid Nation because of her Survivor audition and application. Her information was passed from the Survivor folks to the Kid Nation people since she talked about her child... so we do know the Survivor folks did look at those who auditioned at Riverbend. However, since there will only be 10 "fans," the odds are greatly reduced from the usual 16 or 18... as the "favorites" will fill the other slots.

No offense to the above mentioned, but just cuz they don't type on message boards about the show doesn't mean they arent fans! But I really like Alexis. From JP's comments I think she makes it pretty far in the game and seems like the kind of person who would be a great player. I really like her, Joel, Jason and its pretty obvious Kathy will be very entertaining!

I used to work for a Cantonese boss with Ng as last name. We called him No Good behind his back, hehehe! Five is one of the meanings for Ng in Chinese. I wonder what it might mean in their language?
