It's mainly the attitude & intent of those in attendance that determines how solemn the ceremony is. And it's common for bodies to be cremated wearing jewelry. Just like bodies are buried wearing it. I think it's wasteful though. There might be a family member or friend who'd enjoy having a remembrance. The ID tag is a good idea. Wonder why they don't do that.

No biggie. The world would be boring if we all had exactly the same tastes and preferences. I honestly didn't know that about the jewelry. Since the jewelry doesn't burn to ash like the body, I would just have assumed that it would be removed. I wonder if it's possible to have an urn engraved. Oh second thought, I'm sure it would be possible to have it engraved or a small plaque applied - for an additional charge, of course. The ID is an excellent idea.

Either this show is completely ficticious or ghosts are running rampant in the world. Creepiest moments: First episode: actually hearing the ghost speak and see his handprint during dead time with the infrared camera Second episode: wine glasses flying on their own volition I swear, if this show is not fake - I will never masturbate again. And when did the PRS become Dr. Phil?

Either this attracts "spirits" or it's all in their head. Thus the psychologist. That bar owner seemed terribly depressed in the beginning. Did he not realize the goldmine he was sitting on? Who doesn't want to get fucked up at a bar where wine glasses break spontaneously? I'd pay a steep cover charge to get into such a place. Once they confirmed it was old Charlie, the owner looked decidedly more cheerful. Maybe he finally realized how he could milk this thing. But the wine glass moving & breaking scared the piss out of me.

Not watching, but if they are in the NE, there some creepy sounding animals in the woods up here. When I was younger we were out drinking around a bonfire in an old cornfield behind my frieds house. She had run up to the house to get some snacks, and we heardthis scream that I swear sounded like a woman getting murdered. So we all booked it up to the house like a bunch of little bitches, and yes, it was just an animal. Scary as hell if you've never heard it and don't know what it is, but nothing supernatural. While I'm sure there are ghosts and all that shit, this show makes me ashamed to think so.

I saw that movie and now I'm afraid of turning on the TV or radio and getting just the white noise. Why on earth would actively seek out dead people and invite them into your home? The noises in the woods were very creepy. I would hate to see a wendigo in my house. I wish they could have caught it on film.

She wanted a connection to the dead because of that. Besides giving up her EVP dabbling she should have been referred to a therapist. She might also benefit from medication to get her through the rough time. And those noises from the woods sound just like what I hear all the time in my own home in the woods. I have a screech owl & coyotes that can scare the bejeezus out of you.
