It sucks that Denise is TRAPPED in a stupid $7/hr job, but working for a SCHOOL DISTRICT, I'm sure she has retirement benefits and Health Insurance. That's why Denise continued to work as a Lunch Lady and relish the idea of being Lead Custodian in the School. Chances are her husband's job is hanging by a thin thread as her's and securing health care for her child made her work for far less than she's worth. She could probably make $10-12/hr Waiting, especially NOW with her Survivor fame.
