I'm also happy for Denise, who really seems to be into martial arts and is probably the one contestant (next to Peih-Gee) who would most appreciate that reward.

However, I've gotta agree with the previous posters that her moves were very amateurish, especially for a karate instructor who's supposedly a second degree black belt (according to her CBS bio). My kids have been in karate for years, and what really stands out about the instructors and black belts is their speed and power, their cat-like agility and flexibility, their crisp, authoritative moves and their loud kias (yells). I really didn't see any of this in Denise's performance and was disappointed. Granted, she may have been a bit nervous and probably very tired, but typically, instructors and higher belts participate in competitions and demonstrations, so she should've had a routine down pat to put on display.
