I am finally learning how to make animated gif's! Hooray! and Thanks to SurvivorArctic for that lil gif in the Post show media thread for the posting that lil pic, which gave me the material for this!

So I get a little note from Youtube today telling me Fox made them take down my Sound of Music farewell chop

Oh Blistering, That is what they did to me with my Ryan is fat video. That is why I can't embed it. Because Sony/BMG has rights to the song and they want to run ads on my clip. They asked me to remove it completely or run ads with no embeding.

There IS another place that will let you put this up without a problem.

I will PM you asap.

Thanks BZ! I went ahead and disputed the finding with youtube. I simply stated that it was a parody and permitted under fair use. I did a web search and there was some US Supreme court ruling about parody/fair use. I mentioned it. I got this back from Youtube today:

This message is to notify you that your dispute claim regarding the video "So long and farewell BB9. Thanks for all the chops." has been reviewed by FOX, who has agreed that this claim was the result of a mistake or misidentification by our Content Identification Service. Your video will remain on YouTube, and your account has not been penalized.

So it's back up. That's kind of cool. I'm surprised.

Blistering I have this pending narcotics trial coming up. Do you think you could right me a letter claiming some statute to have the case thrown out? Or should I just keep the "it was my girlfriends and ill testify to that" defense.
