I don't know how they will squeeze another 50 episodes out of this crap, especially since Kate has driven all the interesting adults off the show.

i like dra-mady and the little gae one best
in an old episode kate talked about sending them to preschool but recently i think she said they were going to home-preschool. anyone else hear this? i guess she didnt want to be out of the limelight for 2and a half hours a day but preschool without markers and paint is like disneyworld without your own cup of icecream. poor babies |

Leah is the only one that I feel like we havent seen much of. Id say shes the most UTR of the kids. Joel and Collin have had a huge spike in airtime recently,
in vote off shows that can be a sign of doom, luckily for them this aint that kind of show. I like Collin the best cause he still has the best one-liners. I
loved last week when he made a shelter for his dino and said "Diney still hatching." Joels my second favorite because he also says funny shit.

I love lil Alexis. Her face lights up with excitement and that smile is so angelic. I laughed at her meltdown on the train. I wonder why she's so
"wierd" about her hair.

I dont know if there are any parents in this thread, but is their speech where it should be for the age of 4? For some reason I thought four year olds talked
better than they do. They still talk in baby talk every now and then. In the sesame episode, jon mimicked alexis and said "hims my friend". Shouldnt
a four year old know to say "he is my friend"? I dont know. im just curious. lol.

Depends on the 4 year old. My 4.5 year old speaks very clearly and has for a long time.And while my 2.5 year old has moments where it can be hard to understand her, she talks up a storm too. I haven't watched lately and haven't paid attention to the kids speaking abilities. I think there are a few episodes tivo'd, I will have to take a look and check it out. But, I will say that all kids have different levels at this age. If they aren't in any type of pre-school and aren't invloved playing with other kids such as playgroup, neighbors, or family then I could easily imagine them being a little behind.

Hey all! Long time lurker, finally posting.
Premies can present developmental issues when acquiring language. So its ok that they are not talking perfectly, although they should be receiving some sort of speech therapy to help them out. It also doesn't help that they don't *seem* to hang out with other kids of their same age (I say seem cause obviously we don't see footage from 24/7 of their lives). Multiples sometimes have their own language and being exposed to other children usually helps them sort it out as well. At their age though, they should be in a preschool or early intervention program. |
