24 might be the only other show airing new episodes in January/February, unless FOX decides not to air the new season until the strike is resolved. A shortened season really can't work for this type of show.

LOST may still be a winner, considering that by the time it premieres in February, it could be the only scripted show airing new episodes (even if there are
only 8 of them).

Bunch of whiny bitches. Let them go work on a potato farm for less than minimum wage 12 hours a day, then they can fucking cry about their money.

People who only watch reality TV are pretty much retarded. Seriously. I would die if all I had to watch was reality TV all the time. I mean, Survivor, Real World, PR are pretty much it for me, other then that, everything else is pretty much shit. I really do hope they get this settled sometime soon. |

Supernatural, Chuck, Earl, Office, Reaper, Life, Heroes, CBS Friday lineup...I'm going to be hurting pretty much every night.

Yea, the shows that are really gonna be feeling it are the newer shows this fall like Chuck, Pushing Daisies, Life, Journeyman, Reaper, Dirty Sexy Money etc.
They need those complete first seasons to reel in the audiences. That potential break could really hurt then in the long run. |

Will this affect all scripted shows? What about How I Met Your Mother?

Yes, as far as I know, it's almost every scripted show that's fucked right now.

Will this affect all scripted shows? Yes, all scripted shows except Reality, News, and I think Animation because they are not under the same union. |

Outside of Kitchen Nightmares, it's looking like January/February might be an excellent time to plan a vacation.

What's whiney about that? It's totally fair to ask for a percentage of the profits earned from their product. What kills me is when people say "Oh they get paid enough." No one ever says the same other highly paid sector. |

Any completed scripts can be filmed, but no changes can be made to any scripts starting today. That's why some scripted shows made last minute changes
(Heroes, for example) in case those episodes needed to be used as a season finale. They had to get those changes in before the strike started today.
