The finale was really great. I love the flashbacks and Whiskey (which btw, why was Amy Acker only a guest star?). I loved it as a whole, but it definitely
wasn't a series finale, so I pray it somehow gets renewed.

"Did I fall asleep" during the finale? I don't remember seeing this. Miracle Laurie is looking really sexy in this. |

It was good, but it was sloppy compared to last weeks episode.

For scheduling reasons, and a full tivo, I hadn't seen this show despite being a rapid Buffy fan -- caught the finale and LOVED it. What a rich mythology!
It would be a real shame if they didn't pick this up again.

Obviously we were meant to believe the dancer was Echo, and I fell for it - I didn't figure an Alpha/Whiskey connection. I liked the episode. It wasn't amazing, but I think it suffers partially because of the awesomeness of last week's episode - as payoff, it started a little weak (although it did pick up toward the end). I liked Ballard bargaining for November's release - it just worked for me, although I'm sad that this means we probably won't see Miracle Laurie again (at least, not anytime soon). It'll be interesting to see what they opt to do with Whiskey's self-awareness (if, of course, the series returns next year). |

Tudyk's portrayal of Alpha and Dushku's portryal of "Perfect Echo" were fantastic - made the episode. So much greatness between the two
last night, it worked on every level.

For some reason I have completely convinced myself this show is getting renewed... so much so, I will be shocked if they don't next Monday... fingers
crossed

I'll be disappointed if it isn't reviewed, even though I didn't love it as much as some here. I think there's a lot of potential for it to be a
great show.
The finale was really great. I love the flashbacks and Whiskey (which btw, why was Amy Acker only a guest star?). Since she's been listed like that all season, I was really expecting her to die in one of these last couple episodes. Glad she didn't. |

Yah I didn't get that. Someone posted a photo of the two of them on their engagement. I guess it might've been cut out of a lack of time. |

A spinoff of a (possibly) cancelled show based on an episode we never saw? Why would a network pick that up? |

I assumed that the Bounty hunters where Sierra and November, which makes sense. I absolutely LOVED this episode. So many things went down and it was truly a great roller coaster ride. The only disappointment to me was how easily Alpha got away at the end. It's like Ballard and Boyd didn't even pursue him once they found Echo.. but despite that one instance everything else clicked. (Although the driving scene was filmed horribly against that green screen - you'd think that in this day and age the technology would be advanced enough to make it look realistic, but nope, still looked so fake.) I'm really crossing my fingers for the renewal of Dollhouse. I really want to know where the show will go from here on out if it gets the chance. |

The preliminary ratings are a new season low. Doesn't pan too well.

The finale was really great. I love the flashbacks and Whiskey (which btw, why was Amy Acker only a guest star?).Amber Benson was a guest star for her entire run on Buffy... except for her last episode. If Acker had made it onto the main cast for this ep I would have totally expected her to die. |

That last song was Lost Cause by Beck. |

I liked the finale just fine, but dammit that was no series finale.
I guess Echo/Caroline is now being affected by the same condition that affected Alpha, in which little bits and pieces of their prior personalities manifest themselves? It'll be fun if the series continues, which I hope it does, to see where this leads. The English bitch encouraging Echo to excercise her own innate jugdgment I hope will come back to bite her on her ass. I really wish they'd let us know who November was in prior life. There was that thing with her going to the grave of her child, as if she might've murdered her baby. But upon release, nope no issues. Same thing sort of with Echo -- did she cause her Greenpeace boyfriend to get killed? -- but I can understand that given that there might be a season 2 and that she's still an active. November isn't one anymore. Also: can anyone figure out that sequence when Echo was serving as a midwife helping to birth the baby in the Swiss Alps? Great sequence, but bam! went nowhere. |
