Couldnt Todd have kept the Fei Long idol and then told James where it was at at Zhan Hu?
Todd is a RETARD! But thats ok. Edit: I changed the thread. Now I am really confused!

I could've swore I even heard James saying he had to get that idol on his side, implying that the other one clearly stayed on FL. I don't think anyone
on FL in their right mind would've trusted both idols to James.

He gave it to James. That was the plan. James would use it in the Jaime vote and then I assume still have one in case there was no merge and he needed it a
second time apparently. James had the one Amanda/Todd found and was then supposed to go find the one over at the other camp. Therefore he has two, Todd has
none.

It really sounded to me as if Todd gave James his HII just in case it wasn't in the same place over at ZH camp. That way they could be sure it wasn't
James who got kicked off if they threw the IC.

I'm glad someone brought this up...cause i didn;t think he gave it to him. But everyone else seemed to thing he did so I just assumed I missed something.
But I have a hard time believing Todd would just hand his idol over when James would know exactly where to get his own.

Someone with the show TIVO'd - could you check the exact wording? At first I thought Todd was giving the idol to James, but then it sounded like he was telling him where to look in order to find it. |

I rewatched it and Todd says "James came down and I gave him the idol"
After that he tells James to try to grab the other one when he gets back to camp. So yes James has one, and next week it looks like both. |

Just checked my TiVO. Todd said "James came down, I gave him the idol, and I told him what needs to happen". Todd explains to James that when he goes
back, the IC needs to be thrown so he can play the idol. He then tells James to grab the other idol as soon as he gets to the camp. James wraps it up with a
confessional saying "Now what I have to do is stay focused, keep my head in the game, lose the IC, get the other idol, and then I'll have both of
them".

Like I posted in the other thread and others said here: no guarantee the ZH idol was in the same spot. If it wasn't and ZH lost IC then James would have
been toast.

I guess he thought it was worth the risk to make sure the possible rejoining of the Jaime/Erik/PG/Sherea/Frosti alliance didn't happen. If those 5 brought
over JR, who knows he isn't that liked his group, Todd/Amanda/Denise/Courtney would be totally screwed.
This way they keep James and Todd has earned James's trust. |

That's not what the preview said. Just that E found the front aprt of it. NO indication that he actually has the idol. When T/A/F found it it was pretty
crystal clear it was the HII. E said something along the lines of "Looks like something was here."

Nope, purple parrot pointed this out in another thread and I noticed it too. There are two panels on the archway, one with bats and one without. In the
preview, the idol at Zhan-Hu is different from the other one, plus, it appears to have no writing on the back. In addition to that, Erick said it LOOKS like an idol, implying that he does not know. So they probaly grabbed the wrong one after they noticed the other side
missing.
